Heavy Lift Engineer – Offshore Wind

Fulltime

Functie Omschrijving

About our Client

Offshore wind is growing fast. The Netherlands is leading the way, pledging 21 GW of offshore wind by the end of this decade.

That’s 75 per cent of the current national electricity consumption.

Energy from North Sea wind farms will play a key role. Operators are advancing plans for next generation offshore grid systems supported by supersized 2-GW converter stations. Massive units that require our unique transport and installation capacity!

Our record-breaking heavy lift vessel showcased her wind credentials in September, installing the entire 900-MW Kappa converter station for the DolWin6 offshore grid connection system in days. In the wake of the DolWin success, This heavy lift vessel is set to install a considerable number of converter stations in the coming years.
