Your role
In this role, your general responsibilities will be to support and actively participate in the continuous improvement of companies’ management system within the scope of the job, to promote a safe and healthy working environment for the employees and contractors working in companies premises and to present the company as an attractive and reliable business partner and maintain long-term relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Review bid documents
- Prepare a preliminary work plan, discuss with the Proposals Manager and decide on actions to be taken
- Distribute the bid documents to other departments within Allseas and/or subcontractors
- Co-ordinate activities of other departments within Allseas and/or subcontractors during the bid phase and ensure timely completion
- Review scope of work and specifications from the invitation to tender and prepare qualifications
- Review all relevant documents from other departments within Allseas and/or subcontractors for correctness and suitability to the bid requirements
- Evaluate bid submissions from subcontractors and prepare evaluation for review by the Proposals Manager
- Decide on selection of technical qualifications and compile technical sections of bid
- Compile proposal back-up file
- In the event of contract award, compile project hand-over file
Your Professional Skills
- BSc or MSc degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ offshore installation experience, ideally heavy lift and/or pipeline installation
- Extensive experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Good communicator, building and developing relationship with counter parts in client organisations and other external parties
- Ability to assign priorities
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Self-motivated
- Willingness to travel
